About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning / Operation Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Oil and Gas Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all operational activities of the oil and gas treatment plant to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations.

Oversee production processes, plant maintenance, personnel, and resource management.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize plant performance and productivity.

Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and company policies.

Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and HSE departments to plan and execute maintenance shutdowns and upgrades.

Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for production, safety incidents, and regulatory compliance.

Train, mentor, and supervise plant staff to foster a high-performance culture.

Liaise with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and company leadership.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in oil and gas treatment plant operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Strong understanding of process treatment systems (e.g., separation, gas dehydration, sweetening, produced water treatment).

Knowledge of applicable industry codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.

Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.

Experience with digital plant monitoring systems (SCADA, DCS).

Training in Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
