We're Hiring: Electrical Engineer – District Cooling Systems

Location: Qatar

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

-Operate and maintain electrical systems within District Cooling Plants, including high- and low-voltage systems.

-Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults across cooling towers, chillers, pumps, and associated equipment.

-Ensure compliance with electrical codes, QCS standards, and HSE regulations.

-Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive/corrective maintenance of electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and backup generators.

-Coordinate with control and SCADA teams to maintain seamless plant operations.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

-Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical O&M within District Cooling environments.

-Strong understanding of electrical systems in utilities or industrial infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

-Knowledge of protection systems, load management, and power quality analysis.

-Experience with SCADA integration and automation support.

Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and QCDD/QGEWC regulations.

-Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
