About the Role:
S.S. LOOTAH Contracting is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate engineering and technical activities across our construction projects. Acting as the key link between the project manager, clients, and subcontractors, the Project Engineer ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with design and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor and update project timelines to ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with standards and client expectations.
- Provide on-site technical support and guidance to construction teams.
- Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders to maintain alignment and clarity.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate solutions with relevant teams.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Report and manage deviations from design or safety standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Optimize use of labor, materials, and equipment to improve efficiency and control costs.
- Identify project risks and support mitigation planning.
- Prepare and submit technical documentation, progress reports, and updates to management and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and changes.
- Conduct safety audits and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on-site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in project engineering within the construction or contracting industry.
