Our Client, a government entity specialized in FMCG Production is looking to hire an Arabic speaking Procurement Officer managing the end-to-end procurement and supply planning of IT products with strong knowledge of IT products and technology to join their IT Division.

Requirements

• Degree in IT/Industrial Engineering is mandatory
• Min 2–5 years of UAE experience in procurement, supply planning & vendor management of IT products
• Strong knowledge of the UAE market and knowledge of local & international IT suppliers/distributors/reseller is a must
• Good understanding of supply planning, forecasting, purchasing, vendor management and supply chain processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic is mandatory
• UAE market experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan & Manage procurement of IT products, including laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, accessories, software, and related technology products.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely availability of products
• Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth product flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Analyze demand, purchasing trends, inventory turnover, and product availability.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, pricing, and product information and prepare regular reports for management
• Identify supply risks and proactively develop alternative sourcing options.
