Purpose of the Role

The Solution Architect will lead the design of business and technical solutions using modern application and integration approaches aligned with IT strategy and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solution architecture artifacts following architectural principles and cloud-based best practices.
• Architect and implement large-scale, end-to-end payment systems.
• Hands-on experience with digital payments and multi-channel payment acceptance.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for issuing, acquiring, and payment processing.
• Card-present & card-not-present authorizations.
• Experience in airline acquiring, smart routing, and cost optimization.
• Multi-currency and cross-currency authorization and settlement.
• Merchant reporting, reconciliation, onboarding.
• Expertise in card scheme processing (issuers, acquirers, interchange, authentication).
• Switching, routing, PIN operations, contact/contactless payments.
• Disputes and chargeback handling.
• Experience with Open Banking, wallets, POS/ATM, CBDC, blockchain-enabled crypto.
• Strong documentation skills (data flow diagrams, architecture docs).
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud-native design.
