IT Service Desk Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract: 12 months (extendable)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Engineer to provide on-premises technical support and endpoint lifecycle management for a large enterprise environment. Only immediate joiners already present in UAE will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd line desktop and laptop support (imaging, OSD, troubleshooting).
- Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel).
- Perform OS deployment/upgrades, desktop/laptop imaging and patching activities.
- Use remote support tools for troubleshooting (SCCM Remote Control, Remote Assistance, etc.).
- Manage user accounts and systems via Active Directory; assist with basic network troubleshooting (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Log, triage and resolve tickets within the ITSM/ticketing system; escalate per process.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles, runbooks and deployment documentation.
Required Experience & Skills
- ~10 years of IT support experience with strong on-premises exposure (desktop/server imaging and lifecycle).
- Advanced knowledge of Windows OS; macOS familiarity is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM/OEM imaging tools and OS deployment projects.
- Solid Active Directory, basic networking concepts and Microsoft 365 application knowledge.
- Proven experience working in a busy technical support environment and using ITSM/ticketing tools.
- Immediate joiners located within the UAE only.
