Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The role will start with a focus on Accounts Receivable and gradually expand into Accounts Payable responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record, track, and reconcile customer invoices and payments.
• Follow up with clients on outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist in processing invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash on hand including cash counts.
• Assist the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare or support ad hoc tasks and reports as required.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting-related experience.
• Accounting/Finance degree is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Zoho Books is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Planned Growth Path:
This role begins with Accounts Receivable and will evolve into Accounts Payable, while also providing exposure to reconciliations, cash management, and reporting.
