Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Server Engineer with deep expertise in managing and optimizing enterprise server environments.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in one of the following: SAP HANA, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), or SQL Database administration.

Minimum 2 years of experience in each of the other two domains.

Strong knowledge in system architecture, high availability setup, performance tuning, and backup/restore strategies.

Experience in patch management, OS and DB upgrades, and server hardening.

Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Shell scripting) and monitoring platforms.

Capability to troubleshoot cross-platform performance issues involving OS, database, and application layers.

Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and optimize HANA databases, SUSE Linux environments, and SQL servers.

Ensure system availability, integrity, and performance across platforms.

Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure seamless operations.

Document system configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.

Preferred:

HANA certification or equivalent.

Experience in cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure).

Exposure to SAP BASIS or integration with ERP systems.
