Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor, control and report on HSE operations and performance, ensuring that HSE management plans are adhered to and implemented effectively.
Lead the development, implementation and management of HSE policies, procedures and programs in accordance with local and international standards and regulations
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring proper reporting, corrective actions, and preventive measures are implemented.
Advanced leadership skills to motivate and organize project HSE and contractor HSE teams to achieve high performance standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential risks and hazards; develop corrective action plans to address findings.
Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and sustainability goals.
Control of all HSE activities of the site to ensure that site operations are carried out in control and in accordance with HSE requirements.
Regulating and Monitoring Contractors with the Procedures on the day-to-day activities in Field from the Project Start to Closeout.
Active participation and report preparation in PSSR, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
Minimum 8 to 10 years of GCC experience in HSE, specifically within the Oil & Gas industry.
NEBOSH certification is required, certifications such as IOSH or similar HSE-related qualifications are a plus.
Good knowledge of local and international HSE regulations/standards, HSE Management System, ISO/OHSAS, etc
Proven ability to independently manage and execute HSE-related activities.
Experience in developing and conducting HSE training and awareness programs.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
