About the Role:

Al Masraf is looking to hire a dynamic IT Security Specialist to strengthen its cybersecurity framework. You will be responsible for managing, implementing, and monitoring IT security protocols in line with compliance and industry standards to safeguard banking systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IT security policies, procedures, and protocols

• Manage security infrastructure (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.)

• Conduct risk assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analysis

• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches

• Ensure compliance with standards like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS

• Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities

• Integrate security measures into new and existing IT systems

• Lead and deliver IT security projects within timelines

• Liaise with vendors, auditors, and external security partners

• Support forensic investigations and prepare incident reports

• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and tools

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Banking or Financial Institutions

• Deep knowledge of security systems, encryption, authentication

• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus tools

• Strong understanding of network & OS security frameworks

• Familiarity with compliance regulations in the financial sector
