Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle NetSuite Developer to lead and support the implementation and customization of NetSuite ERP for our organization. As a company beginning its digital transformation with NetSuite, this role will be crucial in configuring, customizing, and optimizing the platform to fit our business needs from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementation Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to support the initial NetSuite implementation.
• Customization: Develop custom scripts (SuiteScript), workflows, dashboards, and reports to tailor NetSuite to the business’s specific needs.
• Integration: Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and other systems (e.g., ecommerce platforms, third-party logistics, or payment systems).
• Data Migration: Assist in migrating legacy data to NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• User Training & Support: Work with end users to understand requirements, provide technical support, and train teams on system functionality and best practices.
• Testing & QA: Conduct thorough testing of new features, scripts, and customizations to ensure system stability and performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including custom development, configurations, and workflow designs.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze business processes and recommend system enhancements for improved efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing within the NetSuite environment.
• Strong knowledge of SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.0), SuiteTalk (Web Services), RESTlets, and SuiteFlow.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite modules such as Financials, Inventory, Order Management, and CRM.
• Experience with data migration, system integration, and API development.
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) in ERP environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a startup or fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
Preferred Skills:
• NetSuite Developer Certification is a plus.
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, or food & beverage sectors.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical users and business stakeholders.
• Previous experience in the Gulf countries.
