Job Title: OCI Architect
Type: Yearly Renewable Contract
Location: Doha, Qatar
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to design and implement cloud infrastructure and platforms. The role involves assessing and enhancing existing enterprise data center environments, developing cloud solutions, and guiding migration strategies. Must demonstrate strong technical leadership and provide direction to project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document current Oracle cloud/virtualization infrastructure.
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions in collaboration with the EA team.
- Deliver OCI architecture including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.
- Oversee cloud migration strategies (Oracle & Azure).
- Enhance infrastructure (AD, DNS, SCCM, Exchange).
- Ensure security best practices across Oracle Cloud technologies.
- Create and maintain architecture documents and technical designs.
- Support administration and operations of Oracle Cloud solutions.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong cloud architecture and migration knowledge.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure and virtualization.
- Proficient in cloud platforms (Oracle, Azure, AWS).
- Ability to lead high-impact projects and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
Experience & Certifications:
- 10+ years in IT, 8-10 years in cloud roles (minimum 4 years in OCI).
- Experience with 5000+ user environments across geographies.
- Certifications:
- OCI Certified Architect Associate/Professional
- TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, CISSP (preferred)
Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
